This 1980 Walsingburg Palth 30' Ketch is currently being renovated and restored. The owner has been doing custom work on the vessel for years and has decided to move on. This is a great project boat and has several little issues that need to be attended to. She has a hand laid up fiberglass hull built in Halsingborg, Sweden and she sailed across the Atlantic on her own bottom. The main cabin has 6 ft. settee/berths on each side, a semi-enclosed forward V-berth, & a galley containing a 3 burner propane stove/oven, large ice box, and sink with foot pumps (fresh & raw). The cockpit has teak bench seating with custom cushions and access to the aft V-berth, which still needs to be restored. The boat is balanced and stable wit a 6 foot fin keel.
The hull was completely reconditioned, including IMRON topsides in 2007. A rebuilt, 2 cylinder, 28 HP freshwater cooled Volvo marine diesel was installed as well as a new stainless steel prop shaft, stuffing box, and cutlass bearing. She...

The boat is receiving a fresh paint job on the whole deck using Awl Grip Paint. Much of the teak has been refinished. There are many extra parts and parts for further restoration of the boat. It currently has a porta-potti installed but the original marine head comes with it. This can be reinstalled and their is room for a holding tank. She also comes with several non-skid pads for the cockpit & cabin. The spinnaker is in great shape and has a new mount within the aluminum bow pulpit. The sails are serviceable but it would be best to replace them. It also needs a new genoa jib. This is a project boat but she can definitely be restored!!
